Opportunity for bloggers
Here's an exciting thing: if you're a blogger, you can register to win free copies of The Jesus Storybook Bible Deluxe Audio edition. You'll also get to know all about everything (who can resist that?) PLUS know it way before anyone else (even better).
Any blogger who is interested can register: here.
The AUDIO edition is launching in October (it's the Deluxe edition of The Jesus Storybook Bible) and by registering you'll have the chance from September on to win free copies, host give-aways, be part of weekly competitions, etc.
The AUDIO by the way it is read by David Suchet (for those who don't know--he plays Agatha Christie's rotund detective, Hercule Poirot--and his voice actually is several octaves lower than Poirot's and that's a fat suit he wears BTW). He's a wonderful man, an incredible storyteller, and an Emmy Award winning OBE--and if you haven't heard a sample of him reading you can here and you'll see why.
(Do you know any bloggers? Please feel free to forward this blog or link to them. The more the merrier.)
Here's the link you can cut and paste:

Thank you for your help in getting the word out.

LOSE THE SOCKS!
OK so this post has to be the silliest because i completely left out the story. This is the last time..
... a friend told me this story. i've provided visual aids. it had to be done. (I agreed to leave her nameless for her own fashion protection. But that doesn't mean I can't publish it abroad.)
my friend went into Whole Foods in this very outfit:
this old man (seemingly unable to help himself) screeched out from across the aisles, “LOSE THE SOCKS!”
after she recovered from the shock and realized he was speaking to her, she shouted back, “I have a very SEVERE foot infection!”
which is both unfortunate and true
(and handy as well because it sent him packing)
